This post is an operational summary, not a complete software license, purchase agreement, privacy notice, or legal opinion. The current written purchase and license terms provided with the product control if they differ from this summary. ComputeX should have final customer-facing terms reviewed for the jurisdictions in which the software is sold.
Activation
The desktop Trading Agent requires a valid ComputeX purchase key and approved-member access. The current license model binds a key to one authorized computer. Creating a replacement key can revoke the previous key and disconnect the previously activated computer. Do not publish, share, sell, lease, or transfer an activation key except through an authorized ComputeX process.
Permitted use
Use the software only for an account and computer you are legally authorized to control, with broker and data-provider access that their terms permit. You are responsible for installing supported updates, reviewing release notes and changed settings, maintaining the computer and network, keeping backups where appropriate, and verifying the brokerage account before live use.
Prohibited use
- Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with license validation, computer binding, access controls, security controls, execution guards, audit records, or update protections
- Copying, redistributing, sublicensing, reselling, or making the software or activation service available to unauthorized users
- Reverse engineering or modifying the software to bypass licensing or security, except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law
- Using the software for unauthorized account access, credential collection, fraud, market manipulation, illegal trading, harassment, or infringement of another person's rights
- Misrepresenting ComputeX, the software, a strategy, performance, a broker relationship, or government or third-party endorsement
Access may be limited, suspended, replaced, or revoked as allowed by the controlling terms when a key is compromised, replaced, refunded, charged back, used on unauthorized computers, or involved in abuse or a material violation. Contact the ComputeX administrator before transferring to a replacement computer or if activation fails.
